 Welcome, it's been a while.

Things have been a tad quiet these days here at the YouAreComic blog network. Our keen, energetic staff of bloggers has dwindled to just me. We haven't stopped reading and enjoying comics we simply got busy with other stuff taking our time - y'know like getting married, changing jobs and having families. The main YouAreComic blog may see new life at some point in the future, but right now I'm here to welcome you to this one and a brand new direction.

Something you may not know about me faithful readers is that I'm every bit as much of a nut for music as I am for comics. Over the years I have acquired a vast and varied music collection that borders on the obsessive and weird. In these last few years I have also acquired a teenage son - to whom I have passed on this unfortunate disposition. He is in the process of acquiring his own vast collection of eclectic musical nuggets and is fast approaching the league of weird and obsessive himself (I'm so proud).

Due to this the most oft asked question between father and son in our house is 'Hey, have you ever heard --'. Its a question which is usually followed with gabbling blather and a frantic exchanging of obscure musical knowledge, until someone tells us to shut up. In honour of that hallowed inquiry and to create a little space where we can indulge in as much musical yakkety-yak as we please I have created this new blog.

Every couple of weeks either I (YAC) or the kiddo (B) will pose to the other (and the interweb nation) the age-old question 'Hey, Have You Ever Heard - - ' and whatever discussion/opinions/arguments that follow be they marvellous, frivolous or foolish will be had here for all to see - and perhaps chip in with opinions of their own.
